Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released Karachi local election results of all 235 Union Committees (UC’s), about 1 day after poll closing. According to result issued by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) became largest party of Karachi by wining 93 UC’s followed by Jamat-e-Islami (JI) who won 86 UC’s. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stood 3rd by wining 40 UC’s. Minor parties like Pakistan Muslim League (N), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP), Mohajir Qaumi Movement and Independents who won 7,3,2,1 and 3 respectively. Elections on 11 UC’s were postponed because of death of candidates.
